In the context of the Paris Agreement, the European Union is increasing its efforts towards decarbonisation. Following a short introduction by ERCST, this session will focus on the regulatory and financial gaps surrounding Carbon Dioxide Removal Technologies (CDRTs), and will be composed of two panels, the first focusing on these gaps at the EU level and the second focusing on the international level (Paris Agreement). Indirect costs compensation in the EU ETS – revision of the State Aid Guidelines

The state aid guidelines are up for revision – not review – which means that they could change significantly.
