EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism: Turkey stakeholder meeting

This meeting is part of the project ‘Economic Impacts of an EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism on the Turkish economy’ and jointly implemented with the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation of Turkey and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The aim of the stakeholder meeting is to build understanding of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) with stakeholders in Turkey, and of stakeholder preferences and positions. It is part of the broader project ‘The Economic Impacts of an EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism’.
The meeting will be structured in four main parts:
1) Welcome & introduction; 2) Background to EU CBAM; 3) Draft study results; 3) Q&A and stakeholder reactions
