The EU NDC after the Talanoa Dialogue – Warsaw Workshop

ERCST and EUI would like to invite you to the launch of their policy paper ‘The EU’s NDC after the Talanoa Dialogue’, held on October 25 at the Centrum Konferencyjne Zielna in Warsaw. This meeting is hosted by WiseEuropa. 
ERCST and EUI have jointly been working on a project which provides the opportunity for a public debate on the possibility of increasing the ambition of the EU climate policy in the 2030 perspective.
As part of this project, six ‘Open Fora’ are being organised in various EU Member States in the weeks leading up to COP24. Here, local stakeholders are given the opportunity to discuss the different options of increasing the EU NDC and the criteria to assess them. A background paper developed by the project team serves as input for debate.
As final deliverable, ERCST and EUI will present their policy paper on November 26 at the French Permanent Representation to the EU. This policy paper will outline the various options to enhance the EU NDC,  which were assessed using a set of criteria developed by the project team and tested through surveys with key experts and stakeholders.  The outputs from these Open Fora are also captured in the Policy Paper.
