This meeting aims to bring together stakeholders to discuss the (preliminary) decisions made for the Phase 4 review of the EU ETS, and to discuss potential areas of work for the European Roundtable of Climate Change and Sustainable Transition on the topic of EU ETS in the coming year(s). For each area, the speakers will give a short introduction, highlight why the topic is important (or not) and give suggestions on how ERCST could work on the topic.
The six pottential areas of work that will be discussed are:

• Impacts of National and EU climate change policies
• Carbon tax: implications for EU ETS
• Competitiveness of EU industry
• MSR review
• Indirect costs
• Voluntary cancellation of allowances by Member States
