This meeting is intended as a brainstorming session with a small group of invited stakeholders and policy makers, with the aim to discuss and provide feedback on the outline and content of the 2018 State of the EU ETS Report, based on a detailed presentation.

The brainstorm sessions will be focussed on the main chapters of the State of the EU ETS Report:

• EU ETS ‘fit for purpose’ and relevant Policy and Governance Issues
• Environmental delivery
• Economic delivery
• Market functioning
• Making the EU ETS ‘fit for purpose’.

For each session, the authors of the Report will present the findings through a detailed PowerPoint presentation, which will allow for a discussion with the participants to address any gaps, or make any corrections needed.

The 2018 State of the EU ETS Report is a joint effort between ERCST/ICTSD, Nomisma Energia, I4CE, the Wegener Centre at the University of Graz and EcoAct.
