*Registrations are closed.

This is an in person meeting and by invitation only. If you are interested in attending, please contact: jlopez@ercst.org, providing your company name and position. Registration will be considered based on maximum room capacity.

The ERCST is hosting a brainstorming meeting with a small group of invited stakeholders and policy makers, which will brainstorm on the presentation of the 2023 State of the EU ETS Report[1], to be released in April.

This will be the eight annual report on the State of the EU ETS and builds on the reports produced by this group of authors, and other partners, in the last six years. The 2022 edition is available through this link.

The topics/chapter presentations that will be discussed are:

  • Regulatory developments (EU and international)
  • Environmental delivery
  • Socio-Economic delivery
  • Market functioning
  • Market Sentiment
  • Competitiveness and carbon leakage

For each topic, the authors will present the expected content, which will allow for a brainstorming discussion with stakeholders to address any gaps, or make any corrections needed, ahead of the final presentation of the report in April.

This meeting is under Chatham House Rules. Information disclosed during a meeting may be reported by those present, but the source of that information may not be explicitly or implicitly identified.
