Revitalizing Eastern Africa’s Institutional Capacity To Engage In Global Carbon Markets, The Synthesis Report: Article 6 Institutional And Legal Framework Assessment In Eastern Africa

This paper provides a summary of different country case studies that were conducted in the member states of the Eastern African Alliance on Carbon Markets and Climate Finance (Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda). The study outlines national circumstances in the different countries and presents results on how these countries are putting in place institutional arrangement to prepare for engaging in Article 6 activities.
