Cooperative approaches under Art. 6.2 of the Paris Agreement: Status of negotiations

This paper identifies two opposing positions in the Article 6.2 negotiations: the first line aims for minimal international oversight while the second wants to introduce a level of international oversight similar to Article 6.4. To discuss the tension between both positions, the paper explores several overarching topics to look for support for the two positions.
