This private funders’ meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss initial reactions to the European Commission’s proposal on the review of the EU Emissions Trading System, building on the stakeholders we had on July 22nd.

The discussion will offer a more focused setting to reflect on the main elements of the proposal, assess how they have been received by lawmakers, industry representatives, and other key stakeholders, and consider their potential policy, economic, and regulatory implications. It will also feed into the second report we are currently writing.
