Carbon pricing and market-based instruments, including cooperative approaches under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, represent key vehicles facilitating private sector investments and driving climate action. Ahead of the Global Stocktake (GST) at COP28, this public-private dialogue aimed to explore the importance of expanding market-based carbon pricing instruments and international cooperation to mobilize finance flows, scale up reduction and removal activities and increase NDC ambition.
