Possible lessons from current reporting experiences of the Republic of Korea

This presentation was delivered by Jae H. Jung from the Republic of Korea at the CCXG Global Forum on the Environment and Climate Change – March 2021.

The presentation looks at the existing MRV system under the UNFCCC and provides an example from the Republic of Korea. Finally, challenges in using quantitative or qualitative indicators to track progress are discussed, as well as implications on reporting to track progress towards the NDC under Article 4 in the ETF.
