This paper summarises the key messages that were presented on the virtual seminar on “Operationalisation of Article 6.8 and 6.9 of the Paris Agreement” organised by Perspectives Climate Research and supported by the German Environment Agency (UBA). The seminar lays out the framework for non-market approaches through presentations from climate negotiators, researchers and practitioners.
