Operationalising an ‘overall mitigation in global emissions’ under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement

This report provides an overview of the key options for operationalising Overall Mitigation in Global Emissions (OMGE) with the aim to contribute to the discussion on how to operationalise and implement OMGE. The paper discusses definitions and criteria that need to be fulfilled to achieve OMGE. Finally, implementation options are assessed against these criteria.
