International carbon markets under the Paris Agreement: Basic form and development prospects

This article identifies 3 key elements of the cooperative approaches under Article 6 in order to describe the basic form of carbon markets in the Paris Agreement. In addition, the article evaluates the interests of China to participate in international carbon markets in order to present short-, medium- and long-term development prospects of the two international carbon markets.
