This presentation was delivered by Martin Hession from the European Commission at the informal dialogue on Article 6 meeting – May 6, 2020. The presentation discusses the transfer from the Kyoto Protocol to the Paris Agreement in terms of actions by the CMA and CMP to avoid duplication, avoid a gap and address demands of the Paris Agreement. The presentation also gives an overview of elements that could be transferred and potential gaps.
