This study presents the Standardised Crediting Framework (SCF) to facilitate the CDM transition and enable countries to prepare for the new regulatory environment under the Paris Agreement. The SCF goes beyond the CDM PoA model and offers a new approach to crediting emission reductions for energy access that lowers transaction costs and supports engagement of private sector in energy access projects.
