This presentation was delivered by Kazuhisa Koakutsu from the Japanese Ministry of Environment at the CCXG Global Forum on the Environment and Climate Change – March 2021. The presentation presents sections of the draft texts related to Art 6.4 baseline approaches and gives an overview of baseline approaches in different international carbon markets such as JCM, CDM and VCS. The presentation also provides a timeline and an overview of important CDM methodologies, as well as ideas to define baseline approaches and revise ACM0002.
