This is a public event at COP31.
As the EU CBAM moved from its transition phase into its definitive phase, this very important tools will need to be monitored to ensure that it works well and remains effective, robust, and fit to achieve its objectives.
This requires that we need to track key policy and market developments, identify remaining gaps and potential loopholes, establish indicators to assess the mechanism’s performance, and explore a fundamental question: how should the success of the EU CBAM be measured?
The key question will be: what are the KPIs that would define “The State of the EU CBAM”?
This event will bring representatives from the EU and those that will interact with this mechanism from outside the EU.
