The Climate-Trade Nexus Assessment Workshop in Mexico City, Mexico, jointly organized by the ERCST and Iniciativa Climatica de Mexico (ICM), was successfully held on March 15th, 2024. The workshop aimed to explore how trade-related climate measures could accommodate different climate policies across developing country trading partners. Attendees discussed existing and potential measures and their implications, as well as the impact of different methods on individual countries based on their domestic climate policies. The event facilitated dialogue between public and private sectors, contributing to a deeper understanding of the relationship between trade and climate action.
