Role of CCS in CBAM

This commentary discusses the issue of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in the proposed Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the need to ensure that the treatment of CCS in the CBAM is consistent with the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) to promote a level playing field.
