Future of emissions trading in the EU: Coverage Analysis

ERCST is pleased to announce the launch of its “Future of Emission Trading System in the EU”. The report aims to examine the architecture, governance and role of emissions trading in meeting EU objectives in the European Climate Law during the second half of Phase IV (2025-2030) and beyond.

This initiative is intended to produce seven reports, covering different aspects that will determine the future of the emission trading system in the EU.

This first report will examine possible scope extensions of the emission trading coverage both sectorial as well as geographic.
