Elizabeth Lesaulnier
Junior EU ETS Policy Analyst
Elizabeth joined ERCST in August 2026 as a Junior EU ETS Policy Analyst. In this role, she contributes to the organisation’s work on the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), supporting the drafting of reports, policy papers, and articles. She also works closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including NGOs, policymakers, and political representatives, and assists in the organisation and coordination of events.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Université Paris Sciences & Lettres (PSL). She also earned a Master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen, as well as a Master’s degree in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges. During her studies at the College of Europe, she wrote her master’s thesis on the concept of a European Central Carbon Bank as a mechanism to strengthen the governance and long-term functioning of the EU ETS.
