ERCST presents Draft International Carbon Markets Strategy for Türkiye

On April 29, ERCST presented its Draft International Carbon Markets Strategy for Türkiye that was developed under a EBRD project. The presentation took place in Ankara and included building training for over 40 state officials. The draft Strategy is a result of over 12-months of work by ERCST and GTE experts in close coordination and cooperation with Türkiye’s leading climate change governmental institution – the Directorate of Climate Change.

This is a big step toward establishing high-integrity market in Türkiye and contribute to global climate actions as COP31 in Antalya, Turkiye is approaching in November 2026
