Helen Bevernage
Policy Analysis Trainee
Helen joined ERCST in January 2026 as a Trainee in Policy Analysis, where she contributes to the CBAM workstream. She holds a Joint Master’s degree in EU Trade and Climate Diplomacy from CIFE and LUISS Guido Carli University, a one-year programme completed across Rome, Berlin, and Nice. Her thesis focused on EU–MENA hydrogen trade relations.
Previously, Helen obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from Ghent University, specialising in Economic Policy, with a strong focus on ecological and environmental economics.
