SUMMARY:Informal Dialogue on Response Measures: Corporate Action on Just Transition
DESCRIPTION:One of the key elements in achieving climate neutrality and transition to a low GHG economy is to ensure that it happens in a fair way\, leaving no one behind. In the last decade\, the issue of Just Transition has been gaining momentum both at the EU and global level. \nAt the same time\, to ensure a Just Transition\, both public and private action is needed\, and investments need to be raised\, therefore the work of the private sector in this regard is deemed critical. \nThe meeting will feature two panels: the first panel will be an overview of the Just Transition discussion at EU and global level and the second panel will focus on international experiences on Just Transition from the enterprise and organization level. \nThis meeting is part of the “Informal Dialogue on Response Measures” project\, an independent initiative aimed at creating an open and informal space where participants can share\, explore and understand different points of view on topics related to Response Measures\, such as Just Transition. \nWorkshop Materials \nAgenda \nERCST’s Presentation \nEBRD’s Presentation \nEPRI’s Presentation \nEnel’s Presentation \nITUC’s Presentation \n
