SUMMARY:The Economic Impacts of an EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism
DESCRIPTION:This webinar is intended as an occasion to present the results of the most recent assessments on the potential economic impacts of an EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Given the resurgence of discussions about BCAs on the EU political agenda\, it is the right time to have a closer look at the various available policy design options and their economic implications\, in order to better understand what type of BCA might work for the EU and what could be the expected economic outcomes of such a policy tool.\nThe webinar will start with an introduction to the topic by Andrei Marcu\, followed by the presentations of the studies by ERCST\, KPMG (Russian Federation)\, KOBiZE (Poland) and GMK Center (Ukraine).
