SUMMARY:EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism: Turkey stakeholder meeting
DESCRIPTION:This meeting is part of the project ‘Economic Impacts of an EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism on the Turkish economy’ and jointly implemented with the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation of Turkey and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).\nThe aim of the stakeholder meeting is to build understanding of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) with stakeholders in Turkey\, and of stakeholder preferences and positions. SUMMARY:EU CBAM Proposal in the Fit for 55 Package
DESCRIPTION:  \nOn March 18\, ERCST presented the Sectoral CBAM Report with a deep dive into the specificities of individual sectors as well as chapter synthetizing the findings to a general CBAM Design. On April 22\, ERCST announced the EU CBAM Proposal. \nDuring this Conference the ERCST will invite global stakeholders in order to engage in the outreach activities.
