SUMMARY:The EU NDC after the Talanoa Dialogue - Florence Workshop
DESCRIPTION:ERCST and EUI would like to invite you to the launch of their policy paper ‘The EU’s NDC after the Talanoa Dialogue’\, held on October 25 at the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic. \nERCST and EUI have jointly been working on a project which provides the opportunity for a public debate on the possibility of increasing the ambition of the EU climate policy in the 2030 perspective.\nAs part of this project\, six ‘Open Fora’ are being organised in various EU Member States in the weeks leading up to COP24. Here\, local stakeholders are given the opportunity to discuss the different options of increasing the EU NDC and the criteria to assess them. A background paper developed by the project team serves as input for debate.\nAs final deliverable\, ERCST and EUI will present their policy paper on November 26 at the French Permanent Representation to the EU. Here\, local stakeholders were given the oppor\ntunity to discuss the different options of increasing the EU NDC and the criteria to assess them.
