The Report provides an independent contribution to the evolving policy debate\, supporting the assessment of whether the EU CBAM remains effective and fit to achieve its objectives. \nDesigned as a yearly benchmark\, the Report provides policymakers and stakeholders with a structured overview of the CBAM’s development and performance. It tracks key developments\, identifies remaining gaps and potential loopholes\, and establishes indicators to assess the mechanism over time.
