SUMMARY:European Hydrogen Bank: A Game Changer?
DESCRIPTION:Venue: the event took place at the Mission of Norway to the EU\, Rue Archimède 17\, Brussels.\n \nIn recent consultations conducted by the ERCST\, stakeholders expressed concerns about the current structure of the Hydrogen Bank’s auction and the scope of eligible offtakers. \nThe discussions highlighted two primary issues: \n– Exclusion of CCS Retrofitting\n– Requirements for Off-take Agreements \nAdditionally\, Hydrogen Bank has the potential to serve as a key platform for managing the aggregation of hydrogen demand and coordinating joint purchasing efforts. \nThis event aimed at fuelling and informing the discussion on the different Hydrogen Bank’s instruments.
